We are a nonprofit that is focus on changing transportation. We at R&J have figure out that one of the biggest barriers to workforce stability in cities like Memphis is Taransportation. Over 30% of hourly workers cite transportation as a primary reason for missed shifts or job loss. The issue is more acute in neighborhoods classified as “transit deserts,” where public transit is limited or unavailable during off-peak hours.
